SNOW REMOVAL

Snow is removed from the community when more than 2 inches is expected.   The order of snow removal is:  streets first, followed by common walkways, visitor parking spots, contemporary house driveways and homeowner parking spots last.  After streets and visitor parking spots are cleared, homeowners should move their vehicles to the visitor parking spots or along Arrowhead Trail.  This will open up the homeowner parking spots to be cleared.  A snow plow cat (smaller than a snow plow truck) is used to clear parking spots of snow.  If a homeowner sees a snow plow cat on their street they should let neighbors know that they should move their vehicles to enable parking spots to be cleared.  The size of the snow plow cat does not permit it to clear individual parking spots (may scrape sides of parked vehicles).  Several parking spots in a row must be open for the snow plow cat to clear parking spots.  If two inches or less of snow is received, residents are responsible to remove snow and ice from the walkway of their house and the common sidewalk in front and on the side of their house.  If salt is used to melt ice, use calcium chloride, not sodium chloride, it causes damage to concrete.
